This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent to register a case on the basis of the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District in Crl.M.P.No.163 of 2020 and the same was sent to the first respondent in D.No.144/2020 dated 19.06.2020 by the aforesaid Court.

2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that as per the order passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District, in Crl.M.P.No.163 of 2020, a case has been registered against the respondents 2 to 5 in Crime No.895 of 2020 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.[MD]No.8578 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 465, 468, 520, 3(i)(iv) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, dated 31.08.2020. The said submission is recorded.

3.In view of the fact that since the prayer sought for by the petitioner has already been complied with, no further order is necessary in this application. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infrucutuous.
