This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 6 to take action against the respondents 7 to 11 for ex-communication based on the representation dated 21.02.2023.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police 2/5

submitted that in pursuance of the direction issued by this Court on 19.04.2023, Peace Committee Meeting was conducted by the Thasildar, Tirunelveli Town on 29.04.2023. In the Peace Committee Meeting all the parties appeared and resolution was adopted. In pursuance of the resolution, understanding was reached between the parties and the festival was also conducted in a peace full manner. The petitioner and his family members also participated in the festival. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is dismissed as infrucutous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 07.06.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No tta 3/5
