The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adal Padal scheduled to be held on 16.04.2023 at night in connection with Chithirai Thiruvizha in Arulmighu Sri Agastheeswarar and Arulmighu Sri Muthumuneeswarar Temple at Vellalaviduthi Village and Post, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukottai District - 622 301 by consider the Petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2023.

2.Mr.R.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event in Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 2/4

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
