This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adal Padal scheduled to be held on 01.06.2023 at about 07.00 p.m. to 11.55 p.m. in connection with "Kumbhabhishekam" in the month of "Vaikasi" in Arulmighu Sri Sevugaperumal Temple at Singampunari, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District - 630 502 by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that because of the rivalry between two groups of people in the earlier occasion case and counter case has been registered in Crime Nos.58 and 75 of 2023 and the same is pending for investigation, over which, the apprehension of breach of peace by the respondents.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
