G.Amuthamary : Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 5 herein to complete the surcharge proceedings initiated by the 4th respondent herein by his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.676/ 2024/SP, dated 23.05.2024 in a time bound manner as stipulated by this Honble Court and consequently direct the 4th respondent herein to initiate criminal action against the private respondents herein as recommended by the enquiry officer appointed U/s.81 of the Act and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to take disciplinary action and disqualification and removal actions as stipulated under the Act and Rule against the private respondents herein for their illegal acts committed against the fifth respondent in a time bound manner as stipulated by this Court. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, respondents 1 to 4 have initiated departmental proceedings under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act, 1983. Therefore, it was submitted that nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.
