O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent Police to file an additional charge sheet in C.C.No.2 of 2019 at Madurai TNPID Court, after including the petitioner as one of the complainant.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Police, on instructions, would submit that during the relevant point of time, the accused in C.C.No.2 of 2019, which is pending on the file of TNPID Court, Madurai, collected deposits from various persons and thereafter, he has not repaid the same, as per the agreed terms. In this regard, nearly 647 complaints have been received by the respondent police and upon which charge sheet has also been filed. In this regard, in earlier, the petitioner herein has not approached the respondent police. However, the respondent Police is ready to consider the representation given by the petitioner, dated 28.07.2020 and to add the petitioner as he is also one of the depositor.
