This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant permission and to give adequate police protection to contest a peaceful protest on 06.04.2025 in front of the Tenkasi New Bus Stand from 03.00 p.m to 06.00 p.m as against the illegal appointment of trustees in "Arulmigu Kasiviswanathar Temple and Arulmigu Thirumalaikumaraswamy Temple", Tenkasi District by considering the representation dated 25.03.2025.

According to the petitioner, he is the State Co-ordinator in the Association, namely, PMT People Welfare Association and they came to know that the trustees in the Temple, namely, "Arulmigu Kasiviswanathar Temple and Arulmigu Thirumalaikumaraswamy Temple" situated in Tenkasi District were appointed in a biased manner and solely on the bases of the caste and without following any other criteria to appoint as a trustee as per the law. Therefore, they want to conduct protest on Page No. 2 of 5
06.04.2025 from 3.00 p.m to 6.00 p.m. To that effect, they also sent a representation to the second respondent for grant of permission, but the same has not been considered. Therefore, he has filed this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner want to conduct protest in front of the bus stand on 06.04.2025. On that date, the 'Kumbaabishekam' for the Temple, namely, "Arulmigu Kasiviswanathar Temple" is scheduled and the place where the petitioner wants to protest is also a busy area. However, the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and they will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders by tomorrow i.e. on 05.04.2025.

Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and the representation of the petitioner is also under consideration by the second respondent, this Court directs the second respondent to considered the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2025 and dispose of the same by tomorrow itself i.e. On 05.04.2025.

5. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
