Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the Impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in Letter No.225M/Va Pa/E.Va.A/Ko.6/2020 dated 20.04.2022 quash the same and consequentially to direct the respondents to conduct auction afresh in fair and transparent manner strictly in accordance with the Tender Transparency Act. ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the tender granted in favour of the 6th respondent to run a canteen inside the Government Rajaji Hospital.
2. A perusal of impugned order reveals that it was granted on 20.04.2022 for a period of three years and the period has expired. 2/5
3. The fourth respondent has given written instructions to the learned Special Government Pleader to the effect that since the period has already expired, now they are going to issue a notification for public auction which will be done by the 5th respondent in consultation with the fourth respondent.
4. In view of the fact that the period has already expired and the 5th respondent is proposing to go for public auction, nothing survives to be adjudicated.
5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 20.02.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 3/5
