O R D E R

The petitioner is the owner of the shop, which is situated in Shop No.7/37, situated at 28, Technical School Road, Madurai, which belongs to Madurai Corporation. Originally, the petitioner's father was doing business in the said shop. The license to run the said shop was given in the name of the petitioner's father. Now, the petitioner is doing business in the said shop. Therefore, he made a representation to the respondent to change the licence in the name of the petitioner. But, the representation given by the petitioner dated 28.04.2018, is pending with the respondent without consideration. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.04.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
