Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in pursuant to the proceedings of the second respondent in Detention Order in Cr.M.P.No. 05/2023 dated 10.03.2023 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu, namely Sathishkumar @ Parotta Sathish,

S/o.Chandran, aged 32 years who is now detained in Central Prison, Trichy before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the detenu died during the pendency of the Habeas Corpus Petition, which was also acknowledged by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. Since the detenu died during the pendency of the Habeas Corpus Petition, the detention order stands abated. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
