ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) This writ petition has been filed in public interest, seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and make a complaint to the competent authorities and initiate penal action for the money misappropriated under the ATMA Scheme within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Whether there has been misappropriation of funds by one or other persons, is a matter for the higher authorities to consider, if any complaint has been lodged in that regard. We do not find any justification to entertain this writ petition in public interest on this issue, as it is for the appropriate authority concerned to take action as per law, if the complaint establishes a case of illegality or misappropriation of funds. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed. No costs.
