This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2020 and allow the petitioner to continue as Work Site Supervisor of MGNREGS, Kanshapuram Village Panchayat, Watrap Union, Virudhunagar District, in the light of the Circular made in Na.Ka.C11/4204/2019 dated 23.03.2020 of the first respondent.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Work Site Supervisor under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme at Kansapuram Village, Watrap Taluk, Virudhunagar 2/6
District, by the third respondent. The petitioner carried out the works such as putting the attendance of the workers, registering their names in the register and to forward the same to the competent authority for sanctioning of their salary, allotting works at site and make them to gather at the work sites in a proper date and time. At this juncture, Local Body Election was conducted for the Panchayat Union and new Panchayat President and other officers have assuming their office. Thereafter, the Panchayat President has not allowed the petitioner to supervise the work site and the Panchayat President has kept the attendance register of the workers. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 with regard to the above said issue and prayed them to continue his position as Supervisor. But, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2020 and pass appropriate orders.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
