Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to carry out suitable mutation by incorporating names of the petitioners in the revenue records pertaining to the property in Door No.287 Comprosed with an extent of 4120 square feet situates in Harveypatti, Madurai within a time limit as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The petitioners seek for mutation of revenue records pertaining to the property in Door No.287, measuring an extent of 4120 square feet situated in Harveypatti, Madurai.

2. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the petitioners have made such request to the respondent through their representation dated 04.11.2015. Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider and decide the application of the petitioner seeking for mutation of revenue records on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
