Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made in Oorani in Survey No.5, Village No.104, Pulankulam Village, Andarkottaram Village Panchayat, Madurai Taluk and District belonging to the Government.

[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made in Oorani in Survey No.5, Village No.104, Pulankulam Village, Andarkottaram Village Panchayat, Madurai Taluk and District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. We have also perused the records carefully. 3.The learned Government Advocate produced a letter sent by the Tahsildar, Madurai East, Madurai, to him stating that on enquiry, he came to know that the encroachment was removed and that the encroachers have also been directed not to encroach upon the said land again. The said statement is recorded.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. This Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed. No costs.
