O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The writ petitioner seeks to restrain the respondents from removing the trees standing in the bund of vaikkal in S.No.97 of Thogamalai Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District. 2.When the case was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner would not lay any claim on the trees in question. The respondents are restrained from removing the trees in question. When it is a policy of the Government to grow more trees, it is surprising that the authorities should even think of cutting and removing them. Of course, the writ petitioner cannot be permitted to commit any encroachment. If any such encroachment is noticed, the same is liable to be removed. We make it clear that the protection given https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in this writ petition is only for the trees standing in the bund of Vaikkal in S.No.97 alone.

3.This writ petition is allowed is disposed on the above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
