ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused Nos.1 to 5 seeking to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.43 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police wherein they are charged with the offences under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 115(2), 118(2), 324(2) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2022.

2.Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the F.I.R. Today, the defacto complainant is present and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the F.I.R.

3.Considering the above said facts, the F.I.R. in Crime No.43 of 2026 on the file of the first respondent police stands quashed. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The compromise memo shall form part of this order.
