ORDER

This Criminal Revision Petition is filed to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.197 of 2026 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Palani seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani, to grant interim custody of RC book of the petitioner's vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 69 AJ 1897.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner seeks temporary custody of the Registration Certificate (RC) book for the vehicle bearing Registration No. TN 69 AJ 1897, in order to facilitate its fitness test.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the submission made, the petitioner is permitted to file an application before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani, along with an affidavit and undertaking, ensuring the return of the RC book of the petitioner's vehicle, within a period of one month from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this criminal revision petition stands disposed of.
