ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to conduct "Manju Virattu" in Sirumaruthoor Kanmai Pottal, Vadivasal, Kandramanickam, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District on 24.04.2025 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 23.02.2025 based on the G.O(D) No.245 dated 24.04.2024 within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 3.The petitioner had given a representation to the respondents on 23.02.2025, in this regard. Since the said representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) 3/7

appearing for the 7th respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be disposed of by the respondents in accordance with law within a time frame.

5.Mr.J.Jeyakumaran, learned counsel appearing for the proposed impleading petitioner/Shanmuga Raja, would submit that he has filed an impleading petition, which is yet to be numbered and submitted that the rival claimants may also be given an opportunity of hearing while considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.02.2025. 6.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, one Shanmuga Raja as well as any of the interested parties. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
