PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the respondents herein not to harass the petitioner on the guise of enquiry except under due process of law.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the third respondent police not to harass petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that FIR has been registered as against the 3 companies and the respective Directors for online trading fraud. The petitioner is being called upon to appear for the enquiry only as a Website creator and not as an accused person. In such circumstances, he submitted that his statement is required in order to establish the online trade fraud committed by the accused persons.

3. In view of the above said facts, there shall be a direction to the third respondent police to complete the enquiry with regard to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
