ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner is arrayed as accused. He was arrested and remanded to Judicial Custody on 30.05.2021 for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(aaa) and Section 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, in Crime No.359 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 240 litres of toddy on 30.05.2021 at Madasamy Thottam. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.7780 of 2021 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent strongly opposed this petition on the ground that investigation in this case is not completed and 14 similar previous cases are pending against the petitioner, out of which, four case are similar in nature.
5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner has been repeatedly committing the offence under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act and also the fact that the petitioner is a regular offender, this Court is not inclined to grant bail the petitioner.
