ORDER
By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give permission to the petitioner and other villagers for conducting protest meeting against stone quarry, situated at Puliyuran Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District at 10.00 am to 1.00 pm in any one of the day from 02.05.2022 to 05.05.2022 or any other day near Taluk Office, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar District.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation seeking for permission to conduct the protest meeting has not been considered by the respondents. In the representation, the petitioner sought for protest meeting between 02.05.2022 and 05.05.2022.

4. Since the date for which the protest meeting was proposed as expired, it would be appropriate to grant liberty to the petitioner to make fresh representation.
5. In the light of the above observations, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh representation to the first respondent seeking for permission. On receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
