O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.442 of 2024 dated 12.11.2024 and to file final report within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on her complaint, a case in Crime No.442 of 2024 has been registered for the offences under Sections 406, 418, 420, 422 and 120B of IPC. This Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.20076 of 2024, at the time of considering the bail application for the accused had directed the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, but no charge sheet has been filed so far. Therefore, she has filed this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that they completed the material part of the investigation. They will complete the investigation within one month.
4. Since already this Court directed the 2nd respondent to complete Page No. 2 of 4
the investigation within three months through an order dated 20.11.2024 and now the case is still under investigation, it is for the 2nd respondent to comply the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.20076 of 2024 dated 20.11.2024. Already this Court passed order to complete the investigation within three months. Therefore, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to comply the order passed by this Court dated 20.11.2024 without delay. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
