Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant parole leave for a period of two months to the petitioner's husband namely C.Dhamodharan, S/o.Chidhambaram aged about 54 years now who is detained at Central Prison, Cuddalore in CT No. 14883 for taking treatment of open Heart Surgery by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2022. [Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is to direct respondents to grant parole leave for a period of two months to the petitioner's husband namely C.Dhamodharan, aged about 54 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Cuddalore in CT No.14883 for taking medical treatment by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2022.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioner has already been rejected by the third respondent and to that effect he has also produced a copy of the proceedings dated 05.05.2022 issued by the third respondent.

3. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved, it is open to her to challenge the said order of rejection in the manner known to law.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
