Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to allot a chamber to the petitioner as a coallottee in the existing vacancy at Law Chambers at District Court Campus, District Court, Madurai in view of the representation dated 30.11.2012 and 03.03.2014.

ORDER

The petitioner who is a practising Advocate has applied for allotment of chambers constructed in the District Court Campus, Madurai. The petitioner submits that though, at the time of allotment, he was not allotted a chamber on the ground that he did not possess required period of practice, he submitted a representation dated 30.11.2012, pursuant to the death of his senior Mr.S.N.Ramasamy, who passed away on 11.01.2010. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the first respondent.

3.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim for allotment, I am inclined to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.03.2014 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and following the procedures and also strictly adhering to the norms, within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
