O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 to 3 to grant permission to conduct Kabaddi Sport Competition scheduled on 05.04.2025 and 06.04.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the Manager of the sports club, namely, Nethaji Sports Club at Vasudevanallur, Thenkasi District. For the past 7 years, the Kabaddi Tournament has been conducted by the said club without any issue. While so, the petitioner's club is decided to conduct Kabaddi Tournament on 05.04.2025 and 06.04.2025. For that they approached the 3rd respondent seeking permission through representation dated 26.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Therefore, he has filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and they will consider the representation favorably by imposing some conditions in accordance with law.

In view of the same and recording the above said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to grant permission to the petitioner for conducting Kabaddi Tournament on 05.04.2025 and 06.04.2025 by imposing appropriate conditions in accordance with law.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
