ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order of 1982 r/w 7(1) a (ii) of EC Act 1955, in Crime No.70 of 2018 seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.In this case, the first accused Padmanathan has been arrested by the respondent police and more than 1000 kilo grams of PDS rice was seized. From his confession the role of the petitioner is come to the light. Smuggling of PDS rice is an offence against the society.
