Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the petitioner's name and close the history sheet in H.S.No.753 of 2016, maintained by the respondents by following the guidelines issued in the decisions in Sabari @ Sabarigiri Vs. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Annanagar (L&O) Range, Madurai City, Madurai and Others reported in 2018 4 MLJ (Crl) 585 and Thirumagan Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Madurai District reported in 2020 (2) LW (Crl)-266 and consequently, forbear the fourth respondent not to imposing Section 110 of Cr.P.C. as against the petitioner, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 02.05.2022.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to remove the petitioner's name and close the history sheet in H.S.No.753 of 2016, maintained by the respondents by following the guidelines issued in the decisions in Sabari @ Sabarigiri Vs. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Annanagar (L&O) 1/3
Range, Madurai City, Madurai and Others reported in 2018 4 MLJ (Crl) 585 and Thirumagan Vs. The Superintendent of Police, Madurai District reported in 2020 (2) LW (Crl)-266 and consequently, forbear the fourth respondent not to impose Section 110 of Cr.P.C. as against the petitioner, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 02.05.2022.
2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 02.05.2022, the petitioner has made a representation to remove his name from the history sheeted rowdy list and not to impose Section 110 of Cr.P.C as against him, but so far, no action has been taken and hence, he requested to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders. 4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
