ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC in Crime No.249 of 2016, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on promising to get a job, the petitioner received a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- from the defacto complainant and subsequently did not pay the same and cheated the defacto complainant. On complaint, a case has been registered against the petitioners.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 01.07.2016 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, hence, the matter is posted today under the caption for dismissal. Today also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on promising to get a job, the petitioners received a sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- and subsequently, he paid Rs.1,50,000/- and seeks week time for giving the balance amount. But, he failed to pay the balance amount.

5. Considering the serious nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
