ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents / the Tahsildar and the Taluk Surveyor, Taluk 1/4

Office, Manur, Tirunelveli District, to conduct survey and demarcate the land of the petitioner at S.No.96/10A and 96/7A at Mela Ilanthaikulam Village, Manur Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. The petitioner had made an application in this regard and had also paid necessary charges on 03.01.2023. The petitioner claims title to the said property and had also executed a settlement deed in favour of his son registered in Document No.421/23 dated 10.02.2023.

3. A direction is given to the respondents to examine the claim of the petitioner, examine the settlement deed which had been executed by the petitioner, identify the land and thereafter, proceed to survey the land, if there are no other objections. The entire exercise may be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
