The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the Inspector of Police, Avaniyapuram Police Station, Madurai City, the 2nd respondent herein, to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 04.01.2016.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ due enquiry, the complaint was closed.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However, the 2nd respondent is directed to send the closure report to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already sent.
