The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 22.10.2024 and 31.03.2025 and issue joint patta.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents.
3. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for by the writ petitioner in this writ petition, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that subject to the petitioner producing satisfactory documentary evidence to establish his entitlement to have his name included in the joint Patta, the said representations of the petitioner would be considered by the 3rd respondent. 3/6
5. Recording the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to conduct an enquiry after affording an opportunity to the petitioner to produce relevant documents in support of the claim for inclusion of the petitioner's name in the joint Patta and subject to satisfactory evidence being produced by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent shall consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 22.10.2024 and 31.03.2025 and past final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of evidence produced by the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
