ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner challenges the impugned order of deployment. The specific stand of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the deployment has been made on the ground that the teaching staff in the rank of B.T. Assistant have been rendered surplus. In such cases, the junior teaching staff will have to be deployed while retaining the senior teaching staff.

3.I ordered notice and called upon the learned Additional Government Pleader to clarify if juniors have been retained. Mr.Senthilkumar who is working as Superintendent in the office of the second respondent is present in person. Based on his instruction, the learned Additional Government Pleader clarifies that the petitioner is a senior. It was further undertaken by the official respondents that the impugned order will not be implemented.
4.Recording the said submission of the department, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
