O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and property situated at Ittery Nagar, Palani Town and Comprised in Survey No.12/2 and new correlation No.2/3 admeasuring 55 cents, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2023. 2.According to the petitioner, the said property belongs to one Velusamy and the said Velusamy executed general power of attorney in favour of the petitioner in the year 2015 and thereafter, he executed a Will on 30.09.2014. Thereafter, the said Velusamy died on 25.05.2018 without any legal heirs to succeed his estate. After the demise of the said Velusamy, the petitioner become the absolute owner of the property. While so, one Poonkodi along with Prakash is attempting to disturb the petitioner's enjoyment of the property and also caused life threat. 2/5

Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 14.10.2023 to the second respondent, but no action was taken and thereafter, he sent the representation, dated 30.10.2023 and the same was also not considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2023 was already considered and after due enquiry, the same was closed on 15.11.2023 itself.

4.Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the closure of the complaint in the manner known to law, if he is aggrieved. 07.04.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
