The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 01.03.2014 in accordance with law. Through the said representation, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner seeks for removal of seemai karuvel trees by way of public auction.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that instead of doing the same by way of public auction, some interested elements are trying to remove those trees without following due process of law.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner has made a representation to that effect, it is for the authority, more particularly the first respondent to consider and decide it on merits.

4.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2014 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
