O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the first and second respondents to take over the administration of Sri Muthumariamman Temple in respect of Survey No.110A/8A, situated at Vettuvakottai Village, Thiruvonam Taluk, Thanjavur District, manage the temple properties and utilize the income derived therefrom for the benefit of the devotees and for the development of the temple, based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2025.

When the matter came up for admission, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that when the petitioner had made a representation for the above purposes, the second respondent had also directed the third respondent to conduct an enquiry and submit a report. In spite thereof, the matter is kept pending.
3. The learned Government Advocate, taking notice on behalf of the first to third respondents, would submit that the third respondent would complete the enquiry and thereafter pass orders within his jurisdiction and also submit a report to the second respondent with reference to the matters in which the second respondent has to pass orders.
4. This Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself, without notice to the private respondents and this Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue. The Writ Petition is disposed of in view of the nature of relief that is granted below: i. The third respondent shall take up the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025 for enquiry.
ii. Due notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents or any other person interested in respect of the temple shall be given.

iii. The enquiry shall be concluded and after the conclusion of the enquiry, such orders as may be within the jurisdiction of the third respondent, with reference to the safety of the temple, administration of the temple and management of the temple properties, shall be passed by the third respondent. iv. With reference to the matters which fall within the jurisdiction of the second respondent, a due report shall be made to the second respondent and thereafter the second respondent shall pass appropriate orders with reference to administration, management of the temple properties and utilization of the income, etc., including appointment of trustees. The same shall be done as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.
v. No costs.
