PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of certiorari calling for the records of the first respondent and quash the impugned order in proceedings RoC.No.16506/E 1 (2) 2013 dated 5.12.2013.

O R D E R

In this writ petition the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of certiorari calling for the records of the first respondent and quash the impugned order in proceedings RoC.No.16506/E 1 (2) 2013 dated 5.12.2013.

2. By consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. The petitioner is aggrieved against the order of suspension dated 05.12.2014. The petitioner was suspended under Rule 17(e) of the Tamilnadu Civil Services (Disciplinary and Appeal) Rules on the allegation of corruption and malpractices.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even though the departmental enquiry is completed, the final order is yet to be passed.

6. The learned counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that time limit for passing final orders may be fixed by this Court.

7. Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised by the petitioner, only with a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on the departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.s are closed.
