(Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the correctness of the order passed by the second respondent, dated 09.04.2022, wherein the request of the petitioner to grant permission for conducting Rekhla Race was refused.
2. The petitioner sought permission to conduct the Rekhla Race and price distribution ceremony to be held on 05.06.2022 between 06.00 a.m., and 08.00 a.m., from Kalyani Theatre to Kakkanallur Junction, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the order passed by the second respondent, citing a valid reason, cannot be found fault with. However, the second respondent is ready to grant permission to conduct the Rekhla Race from Indian Oil Petrol Bunk to AmbasamudramTenkasi Road.
4. The submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded and the respondent police is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the Rekhla Race and price distribution ceremony on 05.06.2022 between 06.00 a.m., and 08.00 a.m., from Indian Oil Petrol Bunk to Ambasamudram-Tenkasi Road, with usual conditions.
