ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation in Cr.No.79 of 2019 and file the final report, within the time frame. 1/4
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that the Investigating Officers have been frequently transferred and therefore, the investigation of the case in Cr.No.79 of 2019 could not be proceeded. The present Investigating Officer has assumed Office only 27.01.2024 and in view of the election works, the investigation could not be completed by the present Officer. Further, he submits that the investigation would be completed within a period of two months.
3.Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation in Cr.No.79 of 2019 and to file the final report, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 15.07.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes gns 2/4
