ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A5, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.02.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120(B) of IPC and Sections 14, 4(1) and 76(1) of the Chits Funds Act, 1982, in Crime No.1 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons were running an unregistered chit fund company and cheated the defacto complainant and others to the tune of Rs.23,14,500/- under the pretext of operating the said chit fund company. There are totally five accused persons in this case and the petitioner has been arrayed as A5. Hence, the complaint.

3.After considering the facts and circumstances, this Court has already granted 2/5

interim bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the matter has been settled between the parties before the mediation.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, nature of offence, and considering the fact that this Court has already granted bail to the other main accused and the matter has been settled between the parties before the Mediation and no previous case is pending against the petitioner and also considering the period of incarceration undergone by the petitioner from 13.02.2025, this Court is inclined to confirm the interim bail already granted by this Court.

6.Accordingly, the interim bail already granted is made absolute and all other conditions imposed on the petitioner shall remain intact. Thus, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered. (S S Y J) 01.06.2026 VSG TO
