O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement the order dated 28.12.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) Nos.14763 & 15460 of 2018 and W.P.(MD) No.22593 of 2019, in the light of the Scheme framed in Appeal Nos.116 & 117 of 1956 dated 24.12.1959 and fill the post of Trustees for the Arulmigu Koppudaiya Naayagi Amman Temple, including the other community within the time limit that may be prescribed by this Court.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader for the first and second respondents would submit that challenging the aforesaid order dated 28.12.2023 in W.P.(MD) Nos.14763 & 15460 of 2018 and W.P.(MD) No. 22593 of 2019, the respondents filed W.A.(MD) Nos.799, 800 & 801 of Page No. 2 of 4

2024 before the Division Bench of this Court. The Division Bench of this Court dismissed the said Writ Appeals on 03.06.2024.

3. It is further submitted that pursuant to the order of the Division Bench of this Court dated 03.06.2024 in W.A.(MD) Nos.799, 800 & 801 of 2024, an advertisement has been issued on 06.06.2024 (today) calling for applications to the post of Non-Hereditary Trustees and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.
