Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta in the petitioner's name which is relating to Survey No.264/4 admeasuring 4 cents situated at Muthalapuram Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District after sub dividing the said survey number based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2015. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta in his name in respect of the property in Survey No.264/4 measuring 4 cents situated at Muthalapuram Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

2.It appears that the petitioner has already made a representation dated 02.11.2015 to the respondent seeking for grant of patta. Therefore, it is for the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. 3.Accordingly, this Writ petition is disposed directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
