Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018 to construct a bridge over the Palaru River to connect the petitioner's village and burial ground, which is situated in Survey No.241/8 at A.Kalappur Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, so as to enable the petitioner's village people to access the burial ground, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The grievance of the petitioner is that to construct a bridge over the Palaru river, between the village of the petitioner and the burial ground, which has been intercepted by the river. A representation was given by the petitioner on 20.08.2018 to the respondents in this regard. Seeking consideration of the same representation by taking appropriate steps, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
