ORDER
The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court dated 07.11.2025 made in W.P.(MD)No.31760 of 2025, whereby this Court directed the respondent herein to dispose of the appeal dated 04.09.2024 filed by the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 08.07.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent therein in proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 3284/A1/2025.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, submitted that an appeal against the order dated 08.07.2025 passed by the management would lie before the District Educational Officer (Secondary), Tenkasi, and not before the respondent herein. This position was not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In light of the above, this contempt petition cannot be continued further.
3. In view of the above circumstances, this contempt petition stands closed with a direction to the respondent herein to forward the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 04.09.2024, to the District Educational Officer (Secondary), Tenkasi Educational District, Tenkasi, for disposal in accordance 2/4
with law. The District Educational Officer, Tenkasi Educational District, Tenkasi, shall take all necessary steps to dispose of the appeal within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the communication from the respondent herein. The petitioner is granted liberty to bring this order to the notice of the District Educational Officer to enable him for the expeditious disposal of the appeal.
