PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020 given for rectifying the error made in the computer entry in connection with Patta No. 278 comprised in Survey No.158/7 Senjay Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020. 3.In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In the light of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
