O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to secure the detenu viz., Arunkumar, S/o.Sasikumar, aged about 24 years, from the illegal custody of the third respondent and produce before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing counsel appearing for the State would submit that the detenu was arrested for his involvement in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.872 of 2021 Crime No.455 of 2021 on the file of Kenikarai Police Station for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 417 of I.P.C., and he was remanded to judicial custody on 21.06.2021.

3. In the light of the submission of the learned Standing counsel, we are of the opinion that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
