O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.] This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for the issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to change the Election Officer, who has been appointed for holding the election to the office bearers of 0.1717 Chinnakovilankulam Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District, which was scheduled to be taken place from 31.10.2018 till 12.11.2018.

2.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner for changing the Election Officer without imputing anything against him, we direct the District Election Officer, Tirunelveli, to take appropriate steps to change the Election Officer to put the controversies at rest. Such exercise shall be done within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
