This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking police protection.
2.According to the petitioner, the respondents 3 & 4 objected her in opening the shop and also attacked her. In the said incident, she sustained injury and hence, she lodged a complaint. However, the same was not taken on file by the respondents. Now, the accused persons are threatening the petitioner. Hence, seeking police protection she filed this petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that it is a dispute between the landlord and the tenant. The respondents 3 to 4 are the landlords and the petitioner is a tenant. Due to the dispute between the parties, the shop remains closed. In order to open the shop, the petitioner has moved this petition.

4.From submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the dispute appears to be between a landlord and a tenant. Be that as it may, if the petitioner is having a grievance that her complaint as against the respondents 3 and 4 is not taken on file by the respondent Police, she can very well seek remedy either before the Superintendent of Police under Section 154(3) of Cr.P.C or before the concerned Magistrate under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C.
5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with a liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy, in the manner known to law.
