O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to carry out the survey and to fix the boundaries of the petitioner's house site dry vacant land in Survey No.115/148 measuring to an extent of 0.01.00 hectares situated at Chackkottai Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Mr.D.Gandhi Rajan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner's family is living in a rental house and in order to construct a house in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.9472 of 2022 aforementioned vacant land, the petitioner has submitted a petition to carry out survey and to fix the boundaries. Though he submitted the petition on 18.04.2022, till date there is no response from the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.This Court finding that no response is forthcoming from the respondents on the petition given by the petitioner dated 18.04.2022 till date, without going to the merits of the matter, the respondents 2 and 3 are hereby directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 18.04.2022, on merits and do the needful in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
