Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing to pass orders on the representation dated 18.2.2014 permitting the petitioner to purchase a new meter and hand over the same for installation in the petitioner's factory by the 2nd respondent under section-55 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 and thus render justice.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for disposal of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2014, wherein and whereby they requested the second respondent herein for fixing a new meter in the place of the old meter at their cost.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that such representation made as early as on 18.02.2014, has not been considered so far. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the request made by the petitioner can be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law without loss of further time.
