ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to refix the family pension of the petitioner by taking into account the recommendations of 6th and 7th Pay Commission and also provide interest for the belated settlement of retirement benefits due to the petitioner in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2. I have heard Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 5.

3. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the first respondent on instructions would submit that, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has already been accomplished, as on 18.08.2020, an order has been passed as sought for by the petitioner and the copy of the same has also been served to the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner also accepts the said submission.

4. In view of the same, since the prayer having been accomplished, nothing survives in this writ petition to be agitated.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
